Summer & winter activities in our Bernauer Hochtal
Bernau offers its guests a wide variety of activities and sports opportunities throughout the year. The adventure starts right outside the hotel: Whether you're climbing the Herzogenhorn, the second-highest peak in the Black Forest at 1,415 meters, hiking our new Hochtalsteig panoramic hiking trail, exploring our mountain bike trails, or taking advantage of the ski lifts and cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity of our hotel in winter, sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy here. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace and are interested in art and culture, our Bernau museums are also open free of charge with the Bernau Guest Card.
Deep valleys, wild landscapes, sunny peaks, and the Baden vineyards beckon on the western edge. Whether vineyards or peaks, gorges or panoramic trails: the Black Forest's hiking trail network is as diverse as its natural landscape. In the south, the 11,100 km² holiday region rises all the way to the 1,493-meter-high Feldberg. The Southern Black Forest Holiday World has compiled a clear overview of the most beautiful premium hiking trails, barefoot paths, hiking spots, and more. Take a look and be inspired.
